Speed Mount

Overview
Speed Mount was built to eliminate a daily production bottleneck where each user needed manual help to mount encrypted drives before starting work.
The system uses a Windows Service on client machines and an admin-hosted service layer to centralize authorization and mounting policy. On startup and at intervals, clients check whether the current machine is allowed and which drive path to mount.
If authorized, the client mounts the encrypted volume through CLI tooling, creates the required share mapping, and reports outcomes through centralized logging so common failures can be flagged quickly for support teams.
Admins manage access rules from a dedicated WinForms host application and receive visibility through centralized logs/notifications, turning a repetitive manual process into a one-click, reliable workflow.
